In Ohimini, Benue State, the Sunday Basil Agba Legacy Foundation (SBALF) transformed the worn-out classrooms of a community school into makeshift dental and optometry clinics. Cracked walls and broken desks became the setting for small acts of care — a mother waiting with her child, a volunteer offering comfort, an elder seeing clearly again after years. Amid the dust and quiet determination, there was a quiet dignity, a sense that healing could happen anywhere. These photographs capture those fleeting, human moments where compassion met resilience in one forgotten corner of Nigeria.
